Last 27th April we officially opened our school's tea garden: the pupils
built two areas, a japanese tea garden and an english one. We
celebrated the day of forests, water and meteorology with a photo
contest and a game called "How much water?" whose aim was to focus the
pupils' attention on the water consumption. It was a great day, the
pupils took part to the ceremony and they enjoyed the contest and the
game. Our city major came to award the winners of the contest and he
took part to the ceremony. Here you can find some pictures of the "making
of" the garden, the ceremony, the contest and the game. You'll also
find the two pics who won the contest, one from a teacher and the other
from a girl from the first class. See you all soon!"

Tea Garden in Portugal
Here in Portugal we have already planted our Tea
Garden. As we are waiting for the new school to be built we had to create an
alternative solution for our garden.
Portuguese impressions after visit in Germany
In March
we went to Angermunde, in Germany to participate in the 2nd Comenius meeting.
Bruno says “I liked going to
Germany. I liked the colleagues of the project Tea Garden and I enjoyed the
activities we did there. My favourite activities were the stroll in the lake
and visiting the historic sites.I also liked the hotel and
breakfast.I liked the teachers and the
colleagues that went with me in the trip.”
Jessica
says “Going to Germany was a wonderful experience because it gave us the
opportunity to meet other people and other habits. I was a bit afraid of the
plane trip but I ended up by enjoying it a lot. I liked all the activities but
my favourite was the visit to the Zoo, because I love animals.”
Bruno Luz says “I liked the plane trip, the
youth centre and visiting the Zoo"
We really appreciated our trip

Tea Garden in Turkey
We started to prepare the places that we will plant our tea seeds. We have two lands. First one is next to school, the other is in the forest. We are working with municipality and forest management officers.
Their workers and our school staff are working together. At the end, the place will be held as a teagarden&park in our town.
