Portuguese impressions after the visit in Mosso, Italy

In November we had the third international meeting, in Mosso, Italy. It was a wonderful meeting. We visited many beautiful places and met interesting people. Our Italian partners were very nice and we ate a lot of pizza.
The students enjoyed themselves trying to communicate with the other students and they really appreciated the trip to Oropa. The landscape is amazing but… it was so cold that we almost froze! We also enjoyed our trip to “Torino”. What a beautiful city!
We would like to say thanks to all our friends there, particularly to Francesco, for their attention and care.  Obrigado!
“The value of things is not the time they last, but the intensity with which they occur. That is why there are unforgettable moments and unique people!”

See you!

Field trip in Poland

On the 12th of June there was a field trip to the University in Białystok, Poland. Some of our students with Mrs.Ewa Sadowska and Mrs.Anna Jakucewicz participated in classes. During some of the classes we observed many interesting biological experiments like the isolation of DNA from the tomato sample. We saw a presentation about breeding plants by in vitro. At the end of the class, we saw one of the best experiments. It was about the behavior of plants or other biological material with liquid nitrogen. We loved all the experiments, but this one was the best. It was very interesting to watch the crushing of the plants with liquid nitrogen at the temperature of -200oC.

We are taking our plants to the Institute in Białystok

Portuguese impressions after meeting in Poland

On May 8 we travelled to Augustow, in Poland to meet our colleagues from the partner countries.

In the first day we were quite surprised by the amazing welcome we had at school and we had a lot of fun participating in the activities our partners prepared for us.

We visited the lake, Wigry National Park and its museum, which was very interesting.

At the Monastery we were already a bit tired…

The third transnational meeting in Augustow was a great experience. It gave us the opportunity to visit a beautiful region and also to meet new and really nice people.
It was wonderful to be in touch with such a green land; there everything is surrounded by forests and lakes almost like in an enchanted land… so different from our own dry and hot environment.
We would like to thank you all for the warm welcome you gave us: thank you for your kindness and for being always there to help us solve our problems; Thank you for the opportunity to experience Polish hospitality and for making our meeting a success. We all had a wonderful time.

From Portugal, with love!
